Dubai Fountain Lake Ride Ticket

The Dubai Fountain is the world's largest choreographed fountain system, set on the 30-acre Burj Lake at the foot of the Burj Khalifa: 6,600 lights, 25 colour projectors, and jets that throw water high above the water line, shooting to classical, Arabic and contemporary tracks. Most people watch it from the promenade. This ticket puts you on the lake instead, aboard a traditional wooden abra that carries you out onto the water while the show runs around you - close enough to feel the spray, with the Burj Khalifa directly overhead and the fountain arcing above the boat rather than in front of it. The ride lasts around fifteen minutes and is timed to a performance, so you are on the water for a full show rather than catching the end of one. Shows run through the evening. It is the best view of the fountain available at any price, and it works well as something to add to a Downtown evening rather than as a trip in its own right. You will catch some spray; that is part of it.
