Dubai Safari Park is closed between seasons. Its own site says Season 8 opens in October 2026, and UAE media reported 12 October 2026 as the date, though the park has not published an exact day itself. Dubai Safari Park is closed between seasons. Its own site says Season 8 opens in October 2026, without giving an exact day. UAE outlets, including What's On Dubai, reported 12 October 2026 as the opening date in mid-September 2026; treat that date as expected, not official, until the park confirms it.
It closes during peak summer heat, from around June to September, and reopens each October; check the official site for Season 8's exact calendar once it is announced.
When open, the park's hours are 09:00 to 18:00, with last entry at 17:00. It sits in Al Warqa 5, and RTA bus F10 runs from Centerpoint Metro station about every 20 minutes, a 25 to 30 minute ride.
The park's own tip is to visit between 9 and 11am, when animals are most active; winter months bring the most comfortable weather.
Six themed zones spread across 119 hectares. African Village has African elephants, white lions and gorillas, and Dubai's largest aviary. Asian Village has moon bears, Komodo dragons and gibbons. Explorer Village is the staging ground for the drive-through safari, with cheetahs, tigers and hippos. Arabian Desert Safari is a drive-through desert experience with Arabian wolves, Arabian oryx and sand gazelles. Kids Farm lets children pet pygmy goats and ponies, and Al Wadi is an oasis with waterfowl and restaurants.
The park's own suggested route: start with African Village, then Asian Village, take the Safari Journey through Explorer Village, and finish with Arabian Desert — allow 4 to 6 hours for all six zones.
