6 min read

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo sells its Silver pass at AED 199 on its own site, with Gold at AED 269 and Platinum at AED 399, one fare per person from age 2. This is the price page: what each pass buys, what the combo with At the Top costs for an adult and for a child, and how our tickets compare. Where it is

The aquarium is inside The Dubai Mall. The mall's own page puts it on the Second Floor, by parking P2 (Grand Parking). The aquarium's own page puts the 48-metre Aquarium Tunnel on Ground Level and the Underwater Zoo on Level 2, so the two pages count the floors differently.

What you pay

Silver, Gold and Platinum are each one fare per person from age 2; children under 2 enter free, and none of the three has a separate child price.

Each quantity step on the aquarium's site prints "Excludes charges and fees" under its fares, so every venue fare quoted here is before whatever charges and fees apply. The site does not say what they come to, and we have not found a page that does.

Silver, AED 199, covers the Aquarium Tunnel, the Underwater Zoo and Penguin Cove, plus an AED 20 voucher for the shop. UAE residents are offered 15% off Silver, shown at AED 169. That is an offer on the aquarium's own site, not a standing fare, and we do not sell it.

Gold and Platinum

Gold, AED 269, adds a glass boat tour, fish feeding, discounts on animal encounters and dining vouchers to the Silver visit. Platinum, AED 399, includes everything in Gold, plus skip-the-line access and a complimentary animal encounter.

Holidayys sells one aquarium ticket, which names entry to the Aquarium Tunnel and the Underwater Zoo; it does not name a boat tour, fish feeding, skip-the-line access or an encounter. For Gold or Platinum, book on the aquarium's own site.

The combo with At the Top

The aquarium sells itself with At the Top, Burj Khalifa, as one ticket, priced by time slot. On every date we opened in November 2026 an adult (the page says 8+ years) paid AED 319, or AED 349 for slots starting 16:30 to 19:00, and a child (3-8 years) paid AED 279. The headline on the tickets page is AED 279, which is the child fare. Both age bands include 8, and the page does not say which fare an 8-year-old pays.

Our combo includes At the Top, levels 124 and 125, and the aquarium's tunnel and Underwater Zoo, at a time chosen from 10:00 to 14:30 or 19:30 to 21:30. It is non-refundable once confirmed. Its price is on the card above.

The same tickets page also sells the aquarium with Sky Views Observatory; we do not sell that combination.

Hours and re-entry

The aquarium's own page gives Monday to Friday 11:00 to 21:00 and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 to 21:00, with last entry at 20:15, and says timings are subject to change. The mall's page for the aquarium says 10:00 to 22:00 every day. The two first-party pages disagree, so check the day you go; only the aquarium's own page gives a last entry. The At the Top combo's booking step also offers slots from 10:00 to 22:00, outside the hours the aquarium publishes; we have not reconciled the two.

A ticket is valid for one entry only; re-entry is not permitted.

How long to allow

The aquarium puts the Aquarium Tunnel at about 15 to 30 minutes and the Underwater Zoo at about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, longer if you stay for presentations. The glass bottom boat ride lasts about 15 to 20 minutes and is booked at the entrance to its area on Level 2. Presentation times are not published on the page; it says to ask a member of staff.

Our aquarium listing says about one hour. The venue's own figures for the tunnel and the zoo add up to between about one hour and about two.

Encounters and repeat visits

Animal encounters are sold separately: Penguin, King Croc and Otter at AED 130 each, Ray, Sloth and Shark Trainer at AED 100 each, and Birds and Reptile at AED 50 each. We did not read each encounter's own terms, and we do not sell them.

For repeat visits the venue lists a Silver Season Pass at AED 249 and a Gold Season Pass at AED 349, each giving unlimited access to that pass for 90 days with no block-out dates, and Annual Passes at AED 500 for an adult and AED 400 for a child. We do not sell passes.

Booking with us or on the aquarium's site

Our price for each ticket is on its card, beside the venue's figure. On 4 November 2026 ours is higher for both, so the difference to weigh is the terms, not the fare. Our aquarium ticket has free cancellation up to 1 day before and instant confirmation; our combo is non-refundable once confirmed.

Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo Tickets

The Dubai Aquarium is the ten-million-litre tank you can see for free from the floor of The Dubai Mall - and this ticket takes you inside it. The 48-metre walkthrough tunnel runs along the base of the tank, so rays pass overhead and sand tiger sharks come within a metre of the glass; there are more than 140 species in there, including around 300 sharks and rays. Upstairs, the Underwater Zoo is a separate set of habitats rather than more of the same water: penguins, otters, piranhas, a UAE night-creatures section, and King Croc, a five-metre saltwater crocodile weighing around 750 kilograms. Allow about an hour for both, longer with children, who tend to stop at every tank. It is entirely indoors and air-conditioned, and because it sits inside the mall it is easy to combine with the Burj Khalifa or the fountain in a single Downtown afternoon. Feeding and diver-presentation times are posted at the entrance and worth timing your visit around.

Burj Khalifa and Dubai Aquarium Combo Admission Ticket

Downtown Dubai's two headline attractions on one ticket, and they sit a few minutes' walk apart, which is what makes the pairing work. At the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, a high-speed lift reaches the At The Top observation decks on levels 124 and 125 in about a minute, opening onto an outdoor terrace with telescopes and an uninterrupted view over Downtown, the coast and the desert beyond. On the ground floor of Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium holds ten million litres of water and more than 140 species, including around 300 sharks and rays and one of the largest sand tiger shark collections anywhere; the ticket covers the 48-metre walkthrough tunnel and the Underwater Zoo above it, home to penguins, otters and King Croc. Allow around an hour for each. Both are indoors and air-conditioned, and evening slots at the tower are worth booking ahead - they sell out first.
