Об этом впечатлении

Please meet your guide 15 minutes before the start of this experience at the entrance of the Van Gogh Museum.

Skip-the-line entrance tickets to the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum are included in your private tour, and the guide will have your tickets ready for you.

The Van Gogh Museum focuses on the works of Vincent van Gogh and his contemporaries. The Rijksmuseum houses a vast collection of Dutch Masters from the Dutch Golden Age, including works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Frans Hals.

As you enter the Van Gogh Museum you'll be surrounded by an impressive collection of Van Gogh's masterpieces. Marvel at his famous self-portraits, capturing the artist's introspection and evolution. The vibrant "Sunflowers" series, showcasing his unparalleled use of color, will leave you in awe. Explore the emotional depth of his iconic "Starry Night," where swirling brushstrokes depict a celestial wonderland.

Your knowledgeable guide will take you through the narratives behind each painting, shedding light on Van Gogh's tumultuous life, his struggles, and his unwavering dedication to art. Discover the profound influence of Japanese prints on his work, evident in pieces like "The Bedroom" and "The Courtesan."

Once the Van Gogh Museum visit is concluded, your guide will walk you over to the Rijksmuseum to start your next museum visit. There will be 30 minutes between each museum visit for you to purchase something to drink and or admire Museumplein. However, there will not be time sit down at a cafe. You're invited to do so after the experience.

At the Rijksmuseum, you will explore the highlights of the Dutch Golden Age, exploring the art and objects that defined the new Dutch Republic. Be amazed by the illusionism of the still-life paintings and interiors paintings, be inspired by the scale of Rembrandt’s ‘The Nightwatch’, and see the dollhouse of every young child's dreams. Along the way, your professional guide will explain the social and historical context that gave rise to one of the biggest middle class art markets the world had ever seen. After the tour, you are welcome to continue to explore the rest of some of the 8,000 works on display as your ticket is valid all day. Or maybe you want to relax in the cafe or the museum shop.
