This tour takes you first to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Nizwa Souq is among the largest of its kind in the country. Here you can find fish, meat, vegetables, pottery, jewelry, handicrafts, and souvenirs which are sold in authentic old market halls that few places can boast.

Next, we will see the beauty of Jebel Akhdar by walking around the old villages & through the farms where we can talk to the local people & take memorial photos.

In March we can walk between rose farms & visit the rose factory to understand how people make rose water.

During summer we will have to stop at the market to buy seasonal & delicious fruits like pomegranates & grapes.

Itinerario

    Nizwa fort is a museum today and offers splendid views of this ancient town and the surrounding mountains. You can walk around in this impressive fortress and visit its many rooms, passages and towers. The fort is an architectural testimony to the economic and military achievements of the early Yaruba dynasty from the mid-17th century. Admission Fees: 5 Rials, (Around13 $)

    The Nizwa Souq is among the largest of its kind in the country. Here you can find fish, meat, vegetables, pottery, jewellery, handicrafts and souvenirs which are sold in authentic old market halls that few places can boast.

    Drive through gardens under the shade of date palms & stop at falaj alkhatmeen to see how does the water system looks like.

    We will stop at (Alaqer ) village & start walking between the old houses to the mountain track going to the view point, with Small waterfall, heading to (Seeeq) village passing through (Alshariga ) village.

  5. 5

    Depending on seasons we will have a chance to walk between flower farms & the way of producing flower rose. in summer we will have some fruits like pomegranate & grape.
