IMG Worlds of Adventure tickets: what you pay, when it opens and the height rules

The park gives Sunday to Thursday 12:00 to 22:00 and Friday and Saturday 12:00 to 23:00, and says the hours can change with park operations. Attraction queues close 30 minutes before closing time. The ticket terms give the same hours and add that timings change with the season and on event days.

The park says the availability of any ride or attraction can vary from day to day, and that the Haunted Hotel is a limited attraction. Its terms say rides may close for maintenance or other reasons, sometimes without notice, and that a closure on your date earns no refund or adjustment on an issued ticket.

The park is on the E311, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, near Arabian Ranches and next to Global Village. Taxi and private coach stands are outside the main entrance. Parking is free, and valet parking costs AED 100 a day extra. Our listing meets you on location and does not include transport.

On the park's ticket page, general admission is AED 365 including VAT, and its booking page shows the same price with a number of guests and a date. The terms describe it as a full-day adventure that can be bought online and on site, and say the price can change at the park's discretion.

The terms also say admission is free for children below 1.05 m in height. Our listing shows one fare for every traveller and no child price, so if you are bringing a child below that height, message our team on WhatsApp before you book and ask whether a ticket is needed for them.

Our listing suggests allowing at least four hours, while the park describes its ticket as a full day. The terms add that black-out dates for major events affect timings on the day, and that there is no refund or adjustment if your date is one of them.

The park's terms say a general admission ticket, once bought, cannot be exchanged or refunded in any circumstances. Our listing says free cancellation up to 1 day before the visit, with a full refund, and no refund inside that final day. The two sets of terms differ, so read the terms of the channel you book through.

The park sets ride limits by height rather than age, and says guests under 12 should be accompanied by someone aged 16 or older. Its rides page gives each ride's own limit.

For example, the rides page lists a minimum of 1.30 m for the Velociraptor, 1.25 m for Predator and 1.40 m for Thor Thunder Spin, which also has a maximum of 1.95 m. Avengers Battle of Ultron lists a minimum of 1.30 m, or 1.05 m with an adult, and a maximum of 2.08 m. Smaller children's attractions list lower limits: the Dinosaurium from 0.90 m up to 1.25 m, and LazyTown from 0.90 m.

LazyTown Pirates Adventure is booked at the attraction, for AED 25 per person, with limited availability and no guarantee of a place. The park says late arrival for a reserved slot loses the booking.

Lockers are at the park entrance next to the VIP lounge: small AED 45, large AED 55 and jumbo AED 60 a day. Strollers rent for AED 42 a day for a single and AED 63 for a double.

Outside food and drink, water bottles included, are not allowed in the park, and the security checkpoints dispose of anything that breaks the rule.

Wheelchairs are first come, first served, need a valid ID left as a deposit, and must not pass the entry or exit turnstiles. A People of Determination access pass is available at the ticketing kiosks and at Guest Relations in IMG Boulevard and Lost Valley, and needs a medical letter as proof.
