Dubai water park guide
Dubai has three big water parks: Aquaventure at Atlantis, The Palm, Wild Wadi next to Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and LEGOLAND Water Park in Dubai Parks and Resorts. Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi is about 75 minutes away by road, close enough for a day trip. This guide sets out who each one suits, the height and age rules that catch families out, and the official prices next to ours.

Aquaventure welcomes all ages and only restricts a handful of rides to guests 1.2 m and taller; anyone under 12 needs an adult to enter at all. LEGOLAND Water Park is built around younger children, with under-3s free, and Yas Waterworld prices a junior ticket below 1.1 m with under-3s also free.
Wild Wadi's own site did not state a height threshold for its junior ticket when we checked, so we have left that figure out rather than guess it. Its published prices already separate UAE residents from other visitors, which is the distinction its site does make.
Aquaventure and Wild Wadi both open 10:00 to 18:00 daily, and each is easily a full day out. LEGOLAND Water Park sits inside Dubai Parks and Resorts, so it pairs naturally with a LEGOLAND Dubai visit on a combo ticket.
Yas Waterworld is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, about 75 minutes from Dubai by road, which makes it a day trip rather than an add-on to a Dubai itinerary. It sits beside Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld Yas Island, in case your day widens into a Yas Island trip.
Wild Wadi and LEGOLAND Water Park publish a flat online price; Aquaventure and Yas Waterworld price online by date instead. Wild Wadi starts at AED 149 for UAE residents, LEGOLAND Water Park at AED 295 online, and Yas Waterworld's online price was AED 295 when we checked.
