Depart Florence & Stop in Monteriggioni
We’ll depart from Florence and, in about an hour, make our first stop in Monteriggioni, one of Italy’s best-preserved medieval villages

Cascate del Mulino at Saturnia
After that, in roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes, we’ll arrive at Saturnia’s Cascate del Mulino, one of the most enchanting natural wonders in Italy. Here, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into a magical world—steaming thermal waters flow into tiered turquoise pools and natural waterfalls. These waters are not only stunning but also famous for their therapeutic properties, offering the perfect mix of relaxation and well-being.

Wine Tasting & Light Tuscan Lunch
After around two hours of free time to bathe, relax, and soak in the magic, we’ll continue with a local wine tasting accompanied by a light Tuscan lunch. This is your chance to savor authentic southern Tuscany flavors, made from local traditions and seasonal ingredients.

Visit Pitigliano
In the afternoon, we’ll stop for about an hour in Pitigliano, one of Tuscany’s most authentic treasures. Built entirely on golden tufa rock, it’s a maze of narrow alleys, stone houses, and breathtaking viewpoints. Walking through Pitigliano feels like stepping back in time, with centuries of history around every corner.

Return to Florence
We’ll return to Florence, taking with us not just memories, but the warmth of the waters, the taste of Tuscany, and the amazing landscapes along the way.

- Small-group experience: This tour is limited to a maximum of 8 guests, offering a more personal and relaxed experience.
- Departure: The tour starts and ends in Florence. Please arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.
- Travel time: Pitigliano is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Florence. This is a full-day experience involving several hours of driving.
- Free time: Pitigliano and Saturnia are explored independently, allowing you to enjoy both destinations at your own pace.
- Natural hot springs: Saturnia's Cascate del Mulino are natural, open-air thermal pools, not a private spa or wellness center.
- Water temperature: The thermal water maintains a temperature of approximately 37°C (99°F) throughout the year.
- Changing facilities: Facilities at the natural pools may be limited or subject to availability. We recommend arriving prepared for swimming.
- Accessibility: Pitigliano has uneven cobblestone streets and slopes, while Saturnia's natural pools have wet and potentially slippery surfaces. The experience may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
- Weather conditions: The tour operates in different weather conditions. The thermal pools are outdoors, and the experience may be affected by adverse weather or safety restrictions.
- Lunch: A light lunch and local product tasting are included. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or food allergies in advance.
- Timing: The itinerary order and travel times may vary depending on traffic, weather, and local conditions.
- Swimsuit – for the Saturnia hot springs
- Towel – quick-dry preferred (some tours provide, but best to check)
- Flip-flops or water shoes – for walking around the springs
