Head for Keukenhof Gardens
Take in the breathtaking scenery as you go through the bulb flower region surrounding Lisse in the Dutch countryside.

Arrival at Keukenhof Gardens
Situated in the heart of South Holland’s tulip area, the Keukenhof was once just a vegetable and herb garden. Today, it is home to some 800,000 tourists annually and holds the title of largest flower garden in the world. Millions of bulbs are planted in the 32 hectares of gardens and 15 kilometers of walkways throughout this visit. The grounds are covered in a multitude of vividly colored spring bulbs, including tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and others. Explore the historical garden, the Japanese garden, and the English garden. Admire the floral sculptures, which are based on a yearly theme.

Visit Zaanse Schans
Next, visit Zaanse Schans, an outdoor museum including wooden homes, shops, and operational windmills from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Visit the Clog Museum to observe traditional craftsmanship and wooden shoemakers in action.

Learn the craft of making cheese in the Netherlands by visiting a cheese farm in Catharina Hoeve.

You will visit the iconic dike in Volendam with a view on the lakeside. Volendam is a former fishing town and known for its great fish specialties, the famous Dutch “Salty Haring’, ‘Smoked Eel”and Smoked Mackerel which we will sample.
