You'll be picked up from Kusadasi Port by your private tour guide and head to the ancient city of Ephesus. You'll then explore the ancient city of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world.
Your private guide will take you through the impressive Marble Street, past the Library of Celsus, the Grand Theater, and other remarkable ruins. You'll also visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a pilgrimage site for many Catholics, and the ruins of the Basilica of St. John.
This tour is fully customizable, so you can spend more or less time at any particular site as you wish. Your private guide will share their knowledge of the history and culture of the area and answer any questions you may have. After the tour, you'll be dropped off back at the port.
Pickup and drop-off are included in the tour, and the specific times and locations will be arranged with you when you book the tour.

Ephesus Ancient City
Ephesus, was the second largest city in the Roman Empire over 250.000 people in the 1st BC. Ranking only behind Rome it was the second largest city in the world. Ephesus was the harbour city. This giant city was built only with marbel. Did you know Ephesus had a largest amphitheater in the ancient world over 25.000 seats. Also see Goddess Nike, Local pharmacy, Hadrian Gate, Library of Celcius (the third largest library), Marbel Street, Harbour Street.

The House of Virgin Mary
The House of Virgin Mary, is a place where according to the beliefs of many people Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent her last years of her life. She was supposed to arrive at Ephesus together with St. John and lived there in the years 37-45 CE until her Assumption or Dormition.

Ephesus Museum, this fascinating Ephesus Museums houses the statues of Ephesian Artemis, finds from the Temple of Artemis, Eros Statues, Hall of the Roman Empires, the Carvings of Hadrian Temple, biblical inscriptions statue of Dormition, statues of Augustus and Livia.

Seven Sleepers, In Christian and Muslim tradition, is the story of a group of youths who hid inside a cave outside the city of Ephesus around 250 AD to escape a religious persecution and emerge 300 years later. End of tour back to Kusadasi harbour or hotel.
