Experience a full day of exploration in St. Catherine, where you will visit one of the world's oldest Christian monasteries - St. Catherine's Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Recognized as the oldest continuously operating Christian monastery, it is built around the historic site of the Burning Bush. Your journey includes comfortable transfer to St. Catherine, located 220 km northwest of Sharm el-Sheikh, nestled between Mount St. Catherine and Mount Moses. This Orthodox Greek monastery is renowned for its impressive citadel and its wealth of significant religious and historical structures. Highlights include the Museum of St. Catherine, which houses invaluable icons attributed to the renowned 15th-century painter Angelos and his contemporaries, as well as six icons by Michael Damaskinos, celebrated as some of the most important works of the Cretan School from the 16th century.

visit the St. Catherine monastery, which is the oldest monastery of Christianity. It is situated 220 km northwest of Sharm el-Sheikh and located between the St. Catherine’s mounts and Moses Mount. It is an Orthodox Greek monastery within its amazing walls rests a citadel like no other, it is incredibly rich in important religious and historical structures. Among its treasures is the Museum of St. Catherine with icons attributed to the painter Angelos, one of the most famous artists of the 15th century, or to his peers, as well as all six icons by Michael Damaskinos, which are considered among the most important works of the Cretan School of the16th century.
