📍 Location: Exo Mouliana | ⏳ Stop Time: ~2 hrs

🛣️ Drive from Heraklion: 1 hr 30 min

🚶‍♀️ A scenic hike into Richtis Gorge takes you through dense vegetation, old stone bridges, and birdsong. The 45-minute walk (each way) is moderately easy and ends at a secluded 20-meter waterfall—perfect for nature lovers and hardy swimmers. Water is cold, spirits are high.

💡 Optional: Shorter version available for those who want to skip the hike and drive closer to the base.

🐟 2. Mochlos Village Stroll & Coffee by the Sea

📍 Location: Mochlos | ⏳ Stop Time: ~1.5 hrs

🛣️ Drive from Richtis: 35 min

☕ Mochlos is a sleepy fishing village with a touch of poetry in the air. Sit by the sea for a coffee, fresh juice, or homemade dessert. Across the bay lies an islet hiding Minoan secrets—visible but just out of reach, like a good myth.

🌳 3. Azoria Ancient Olive Tree

The Richtis Gorge hike includes uneven terrain, stone steps, and natural paths. A moderate level of fitness is recommended for those wishing to hike to the waterfall.
Good walking shoes (not flip-flops) and a small backpack for water/snacks are advised.
🧑‍🦽 Accessibility
Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the natural terrain at Richtis Gorge and the ancient olive grove.
The tour is not recommended for travelers with serious mobility issues or conditions affected by walking on rugged paths.
👶 Traveling with Little Ones?
Infant seats are available upon request at the time of booking.
Families with younger children can opt to skip or shorten the waterfall hike — alternative options can be arranged to suit all comfort levels.
🌡️ Weather Conditions
In case of extreme heat or rain, the hike portion may be modified or replaced with a nearby scenic stop to ensure comfort and safety.

🥤 Reusable Water Bottle (Optional): While we provide bottled water, having your own refillable one is always a smart move — especially for the hike.
🧥 Light Jacket or Layers (seasonal): Mornings near the gorge or in higher altitudes can be cool, especially in spring or fall. A light jacket never hurts.
