Join this half day shore excursion from Akureyri and explore some of North Icelands most iconic natural and cultural highlights. Designed to fit cruise schedules this tour offers a relaxed pace scenic drives and informative guidance throughout the journey.

The tour begins at Akureyri Cruise Terminal and travels along Eyjafjordur fjord toward the famous Godafoss Waterfall. Known as the Waterfall of the Gods Godafoss is one of Icelands most important waterfalls both historically and visually offering impressive views and powerful cascades.

The journey continues to the Laufas heritage area where visitors can explore well preserved traditional turf houses and learn how Icelanders lived in earlier centuries. This stop provides a unique insight into Icelands rural history and architecture.
