Leave the coast behind and travel into the heart of the Cretan countryside, passing vineyards, olive groves, orchards, and quiet villages where time still seems to behave itself.

🌿 17:00 – Olive Mill, Peza Valley (Duration: ~1 hour)

Continue to one of Peza Valley’s respected olive mills. Walk through the production facilities and learn how olives are harvested, crushed, and cold-extracted to produce premium extra virgin olive oil. Discover why olive oil has always been at the center of Cretan life—on the table, in the home, and sometimes even in grandmother’s medicine cabinet.

🍷 18:30 – Micro Winery & Raki Distillery, Kounavoi Village (Duration: ~1h 15min)

Your final stop takes you to a small family winery and traditional raki distillery in the heart of wine country. Visit the cellar, learn about indigenous grape varieties, and discover how wine and raki production remain deeply tied to village life.

Because in Crete, raki is never just alcohol—it’s a greeting, a goodbye, and occasionally a peace treaty.
