Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast depart for our safari driving through the central part of Kenya’s rich with agricultural activities to Samburu Game reserve located in the semi arid land in the north Frontier District. The land is characterized by rugged terrains dominated by dramatic hills with acacia and Doum palm trees along the Ewaso Nyiro river, the lifeline of this beautiful arid lands and home to fantastic bird life and rare species of animals including Somali Ostrich, Besia Oryx, Gerenuk, gravy zebra, Reticulated Giraffe and Greater Kudu. The reserve is a good place to watch elephants and the big Cats. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive.

Have early breakfast and enjoy an enroute game view as you depart to Lake Nakuru National Park which is a leading sanctuary for endangered white rhino. Other wildlife found here includes lions, leopards, zebra, gazelles, eland, giraffe and the hyrax.

Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

Have breakfast and an en-route game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Drive from Lake Nakuru to Narok town where you have lunch and on to Masai Mara arriving for an afternoon game drive till 6:30 PM

Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend the full day exploring Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river. Optional: In the evening, Visit the Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Maasai people. A overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at USD450 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration.

Early morning game drives before returning to the Camp for mid-morning breakfast. After breakfast, depart from Masai Mara and start your journey back to Nairobi [lunch en route], arriving midafternoon, time for transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport
