Day to tour Kolsay, Kaindy, and Charyn Canyon Adventure from Almaty - TH

We will be waiting for you at Baitursynov 104, with a van displaying Panda stickers, directly across from the Astana International Hotel at a large bus stop. The nearby Barbero hairdresser can help you identify the location. The bus will be there from 5:00 AM to 5:15 AM. ❗️

Meet your guide in Almaty early and board a comfortable minibus to begin your adventure at Lake Kolsai. Spend about two hours exploring the picturesque surroundings, with the option of a boat or catamaran ride (not included). Afterward, savor a delicious meal at a local café (meal not included), offering traditional dishes like pilaf, Lagman, and shish kebabs.

Continue your journey to Lake Kaindy in a Soviet-era UAZ minibus. Marvel at the beautiful submerged spruce trees and pristine waters, with an optional horse ride to the lake from the village (extra fee applies).

Next, visit Charyn Canyon and Black Canyon, where you’ll spend several hours learning about the region’s unique geological formations. Finally, explore Moon Canyon with its surreal, moon-like landscape before heading back to Almaty.
