Zayed National Museum Entrance Ticket

Zayed National Museum is the national museum of the United Arab Emirates, and it tells the country's story through the life and values of its Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Designed by Foster + Partners, it is the centrepiece of Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Cultural District: five towers inspired by the wing of a falcon in flight rise from the building, and they work like the region's traditional barjeel wind towers to cool the galleries below. Six permanent galleries take the story from Sheikh Zayed himself through the landscapes of the emirates and 300,000 years of human activity, to the pearling, fishing and trading towns of the coast and the traditional life of the inland areas. Outside, Al Masar Garden carries it on through desert, oasis and urban landscapes and the old falaj irrigation channels. There is also a temporary exhibition space, a restaurant, cafes and a museum shop. Allow two to three hours, and combine it with Louvre Abu Dhabi, a short distance away in the same district.
