About this experience
Operation Anthropoid with its course and consequences is the most heroic and tragic story in modern Czech history. The Czechoslovak paratroopers who assassinated the Reichs protector Reinhard Heydrich in May 1942 and died in the crypt of St. Cyril and Methodius Church in Prague city center are seen as heroes today.
You can see these places also in movies: Operation: Daybreak (1975) or Anthropoid (2016) with Cillian Murphy and Jamie Dornan.

Firstly you visit the Crypt of St. Cyril and Methodius Church in Prague where the paratroopers defended themselves for hours and at the end rather committed suicide than to be captured by the Nazis.
From the city center, you drive to a curve where the Reichsprotector Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated.
