Hanoi Bus Pick Up
Pick up time: 6.30 AM - 7.00 AM We pick up from your hotel/accommodation in the old quarter area. Get on big bus and depart for Sapa. If your hotel is out side of old quarter area, you can come to Hanoi Opera House (Nha Hat Lon) on your own, we will pick you up there. Or ask us for more detail. We try to make the pick-ups as timely as possible but with morning traffic in the Old Quarter and many hotels to collect from this time is approximate. Please be ready at your hotel lobby at 6.30 AM to help expedite this process.

Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van village - Muong Hoa valley (-/ L/ D)
Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van village - Muong Hoa valley (-/ L/ D) 06:30: Free pick up at your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi and transfer to Sapa. 07:00: Start departure to Sapa. The tour guide will explain to you about the trip and Sapa. Then you will be served mineral water. Along the way, you will have chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains that terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have a short break for 30 minutes then continue the trip to Sapa. 12h30: Arrive in Sapa. Have lunch 14h00: You will begin yours 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai village of Black H’mong ethnic people. Here we will discover their daily life and how they make traditional clothes, handicraft, indigo... We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view for golden rice terrace fields in Vietnam. After Lao Chai we walk to Ta Van village of Giay people. It is a small group of ethnic people in Vietnam with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields. Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages, about 8 km from Sapa town, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living, it is also the beginning of the valley which is called Muong Hoa. From a high point of the main road, great view of the whole villages open wide to offer the marvelous panorama views, backed by high mountains and facing the river. Here you will enjoy the fresh air, see terraced fields and stream, discover and visit some of Black H’mong families. You will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact them, learn about their culture and customs… Dinner and overnight at homestay with a local family in Ta Van village.

Lao Chai Village
Lao Chai Village Situated at southeast of Sapa town’s center, where black H’mong and Dzay people are living. It lies peacefully in a deep valley named Muong Hoa while embraced by marvelous ranges of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. With its irresistible temptation, will attract you at first sight. Moreover, a palette of fun awaits you in Lao Chai Village as you can have an opportunity of getting exposed to Vietnamese ethnic communities as well as taking selfies with stunning terraced fields.

Ta Van - Dzang Ta Chai villages - Ban Ho Village (B/ L/D) After breakfast, we continue to visit Red Dao people at Giang Ta Chai where we also see a waterfall. Red Dao women have very colorful red embroidery and coins on their clothing. On their head they wear a red scarf. Some of them have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Zao Legend. We will walk to the rice fields where we’ll have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes. A trek through the bamboo forest gives you the experience of Vietnam tropical jungle. Along the way, we will stop nearby a waterfall to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village and have lunch. After a picnic lunch, walking to Ban Ho, where the village lies within a beautiful valley, home to Tay minority who has their traditional houses on stilts and we will share a home-stay night here. Dinner and overnight at homestay in Ban Ho village.

Giang Ta Chai Village Giang Ta Chai shares a border with Ta Van village – It’s a very special trekking route. Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai. Giang Ta Chai village is home to the Red Dao who wear plain black trousers and a long black tunic with embroidered cuffs and lapels.

Ban Ho Village
Ban Ho Village in Sapa, Lao Cai In Sapa, there is a village that no tourists would go home without visiting it thank to its extremely charming natural landscape, the preserved ethnic customs and the hospitality of local residents. You will have opportunity to see water fall, go swimming in hot water pool or cold water stream, find out traditional weave fabric, make brocade… and take part in community activities. You will be alive and living in the cozy ambiance and friendly family. Because the climate in Ban Ho is warmer than Sapa (between 18-25 celsius degree), in the afternoon, tourists can enjoy yourself in the stream Lavie, sight Da Nhay waterfall After Nam Toong be back to Ban Ho village for lunch and by car to Sapa. 16:00: It‘s time to say “Good bye Sapa!” and drive back to Hanoi. - Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
- Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
- Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
- You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
