Depending on time, you may also enjoy views of the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina from outside and experience the charm of Alexandria’s coastal setting before returning to Cairo for overnight.

    Day 3 | Old Cairo, Citadel & Khan El Khalili On your final day, explore the rich religious and cultural heritage of Cairo. Begin in Old Coptic Cairo, one of the oldest parts of the city, where you can visit important Christian landmarks such as the Hanging Church and the historic church area associated with the Holy Family’s journey in Egypt. Continue to the magnificent Citadel of Saladin, one of Cairo’s most famous landmarks, where you can admire panoramic views over the city and visit the beautiful Mosque of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque. End your journey with a visit to the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where narrow lanes, traditional shops, local crafts, and the spirit of old Cairo create a memorable final impression of Egypt.
