About this experience
The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, in the Saadiyat Cultural District, tells the story of the universe, the Earth and life on it over 13.8 billion years, from the first moments of the cosmos to the future of our planet. Its galleries bring together meteorites, fossils and natural specimens from around the world with immersive displays and the museum's own scientific research. The best-known resident is Stan, one of the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever found, and the galleries go on to follow the evolution of life up to today. The museum is easy to visit with children: visitors under 18 currently enter free with an adult, and parking, Wi-Fi and lockers are free. Allow around three hours.

- The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is on Jacques Chirac Street in the Saadiyat Cultural District, Abu Dhabi. It is currently open Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 18:30 and Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:30, with last entry 45 minutes before closing. Check the museum's website before you go, as hours can change.
- Tickets are for visitors aged 18 and over. Visitors under 18 currently enter free with an adult, so book adult tickets only. Your ticket is valid for the date you booked.
- Every visitor must show a photo ID or passport at the entrance. Bags larger than 58 x 43 cm go in the free lockers, and double pushchairs are left at the cloakroom.
