Our private driver will pick you up at your hotel or airport, and together you will embark on a panoramic tour of the city. Along with our driver, you will admire the most modern areas of Madrid that are outside the so-called Habsburg district, the oldest neighborhood that you will visit on foot.
You will pass through the Paseo del Prado, where the city's three most important pictorial museums are located. You will see the Puerta de Alcalá, dating back to the 18th century, and you can stop and get off to take some photos at the impressive Las Ventas bullring. You will pass through the financial district of the city where the Real Madrid stadium is also located, and finally, after seeing the city hall and Gran Vía, you will arrive at the Temple of Debod, an ancient temple originally from Egypt.
Your driver will provide you with the best explanations of the places you'll pass, and finally, he will drop you off at a central location at the entrance of the historic center, which will be right at the Temple of Debod, where you will meet our guide to begin the walking tour in the city center.
With our expert guide, you will walk through the oldest neighborhood in the city, the Austrias neighborhood, built from the 16th century when Madrid became the capital of the kingdom. Within this neighborhood, you will find the Royal Palace, the iconic Plaza Mayor, or the bustling Puerta del Sol square.

Summary of our itinerary
Please see a summary of the areas we covered during this tour. An array of plazas and streets will be included that are not listed to simplify. Please understand that this is very flexible and the guide may adapt the itinerary based on your needs or preferences. You will start with a pick-up at your hotel in Madrid or from the airport, you will tour the areas where vehicles can freely ride in Madrid for 2- hours, stopping at landmarks for photos if you so desire and whenever possible, for the driver to stop and park the van. The designated points for getting out of the car and taking photos are marked on the itinerary. Upon concluding that part by car, we will commence our 2-hour guided walking tour through the historic center of Madrid. This itinerary may be subject to change depending on the location of your hotel.
