Your driver will provide you with the best explanations of the places you'll pass, and finally, he will drop you off at the outskirts of São Jorge Castle. There, our local guide will be waiting for you to begin the walking tour. We'll start from one of the highest points in Lisbon and gradually descend to the river level.
From the castle area, you'll have spectacular views of the city, and there's no better way to start discovering the famous Alfama neighborhood. With our expert guide, you will walk through this neighborhood and also through the Baixa district. Alfama is an old and picturesque neighborhood, known for its narrow cobblestone streets and traditional atmosphere. It's famous for its bohemian vibe and Fado music. Summary of our itinerary
Please see a summary of the areas we covered during this tour. An array of plazas and streets will be included that are not listed to simplify. Please understand that this is very flexible and the guide may adapt the itinerary based on your needs or preferences. You will start with a pick-up at your hotel in Lisbon or from the airport, you will tour the areas farthest from the historic center of Lisbon, such as the Belém Tower or the Jerónimos Monastery.for 2- hours, stopping at landmarks for photos if you so desire and whenever possible for the driver to stop and park the van. Upon concluding that part by car, we will commence our 2-hour guided walking tour through some of the most emblematic neighborhoods of the city. This itinerary may be subject to change depending on the location of your hotel.
