The View sits on the 52nd floor of The Palm Tower, and it is the one place you can see Palm Jumeirah as the shape it was designed to be. From ground level the Palm is effectively invisible - just ordinary streets and villas. From up here the whole thing resolves at once: the fronds, the trunk running back to the mainland, the crescent closing it off, and Atlantis at the far end. The observation deck runs a full 360 degrees, so the same visit also gives you the Marina towers, the Burj Al Arab and the coastline stretching away in both directions. There are enclosed and open-air viewing sections separated by a movable glass partition, so you can step out into the air when the weather suits. Half an hour is enough to see it, though most people stay longer around sunset.

Unfortunately the outdoor section wasn't available during our visit because of the weather, which was the part we were most interested in. The indoor views were still good, but the overall experience didn't meet our expectations that day.

The view is beautiful, but our visit felt too crowded for us to properly enjoy it. We probably chose the busiest time of day. I would recommend going outside the sunset period if you prefer a quieter experience.

The view itself was excellent and definitely worth seeing once. We went around sunset and it was quite busy, so taking photos required a little patience. I would probably choose an earlier slot next time.
