Itinerary

    Day 1

    On the first day of your Pablo Escobar Tour, you will explore the most important places in Medellín connected to the druglord. You will visit La Cathedral, Escobar's private prison he entered voluntarily in order no to be extradited to the United States and from where he escaped one year later. You will stand on the rooftop Escobar was shot on by members of the colombian military and also step by the cementary with his grave. In the innovative slum Comuna 13, the community Pablo sponsored for the poor you will experience colourfol urban art and escalators to help the locals get up the steep hills. The museum created by Pablo´s brother helps visitors to understand a little bit more about what really happened back in the days and the memory house dedicated to all their victims shows that Escobar should not be glorified and how much the people suffered from his actions..

    Day 2

    On the second day of your tour, you will leave the city to enjoy the village El Peñol, located in the middle of a lake in these days. You will explore the town together with your guide and hear the interesting history of this place. For stunning views, you will get up the almost 700 steps of the Peñol Rock, a really breathtaking eperience and the incredible look over landscapes and the lake is totally worth the effort. After coming back down again, for sure you will be hungry and will head to the lovely village of Guatapé, where you can have lunch or buy some snacks and drinks. Also, you will enjoy a private boat ride around the beautiful Guatape lake and have exclusive access to La Manuela, one of Pablo Escobars´s most valued mansions by the lake.
