The first thing to do in Toledo is to understand its location, essential for grasping why so many different civilizations chose it as their capital or one of their main cities. This will be explained from the Mirador del Valle, a perfect spot to view Toledo perched on its rock, more than 600 meters above sea level, surrounded and protected on three of its four sides by the Tagus River. After these breathtaking views, we will return to the city center and start our guided walking tour, where we’ll discover why Toledo is known as the city of three cultures. We will stroll through the former Muslim quarter, visit the Primate Cathedral of Spain, and finally delve into the old Jewish quarter, where we can visit one of its ancient synagogues and a beautiful monastery, a significant legacy from the Catholic Monarchs.
