We will meet in Piazza della Calza by the Roman Gate of Florence, at 9:45 am, ready for a 10:00 am start. This tour is perfect for those on holiday who wish to sleep in a bit longer in the morning but still want to enjoy a full day exploring the beauty of Tuscany. Upon arrival, you'll meet your expert guide, easily recognizable by their purple T-shirt. After brief introductions, your guide will whisk you away to the first stop of the day: a charming winery in the heart of the Chianti region. The drive to the winery will take about an hour, during which your guide will outline the day's itinerary and share fascinating insights about Tuscany’s history, culture, and landscapes. As you relax and take in the scenic drive enjoy the rolling hills, dotted with vineyards and olive groves. Your guide's engaging stories and knowledge will enhance your appreciation of the region, making the drive both informative and enjoyable.

Tuscany - First Winery
First, we’ll visit a winery an hour outside Florence to taste four wines, including Chianti Classico, Brunello of Montalcino, and Super Tuscan. We’ll also sample a 30-year-old balsamic vinegar, plus truffle extra virgin olive oil. Learn to recognize different flavors and refine your palate with a passionate wine producer. Fun and new skills are guaranteed!

Tuscany - Second Winery
Next, we’ll visit a local winery in a beautiful area known for D.O.C.G. Vernaccia white wine, overlooking the towers of San Gimignano. The winemakers will guide you through vineyards and cellars, sharing secrets of wine and oil production, and the best wine and food pairings. Enjoy three wines: Vernaccia white, rosé, and Chianti Colli Senesi D.O.C.G. You can also purchase local products and wine at great prices to take home or ship to friends and family.

San Gimignano
San Gimignano, often referred to as the "Medieval Manhattan," is a small, enchanting town in Tuscany, renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture and impressive skyline of ancient towers. The town is famous for its historical significance, with notable landmarks such as the Piazza del Duomo, the Collegiata (a Romanesque cathedral), and the Torre Grossa, the tallest tower offering panoramic views. Visitors can wander through its narrow cobblestone streets, explore artisan shops, and enjoy local specialties like saffron.

Back to Florence
After departing from San Gimignano, the journey back to Florence will take approximately an hour. You'll be dropped off at the starting point, with a camera full of photos and a host of new friends. Back to Florence at 5:00 pm
