Your day begins with a scenic drive from Saigon along Rung Sac Road – Ly Nhon Road, leading deep into the Can Gio mangrove forest. The journey itself is a prelude to the adventure — vast mangrove fields stretch endlessly on both sides, occasionally dotted with salt fields, shrimp farms, and houses where locals cultivate swiftlet nests.

Bird Sanctuary (April–October)
Visit the Bird Conservation Area, officially recognized by Ho Chi Minh City authorities in 2003. During nesting season, more than 20,000 birds of 26 different species fill the sky — from elegant herons and storks to rare species such as pelicans and the endangered milky stork.
